Johanna Goach - Vice Chairman

Johanna Chua is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Magellan Solutions Outsourcing, Inc. Johanna is also Head of Asia Sovereign Credit Research and Director of Citigroup Global Markets Asia Limited. Her responsibilities at Citigroup include credit analysis of major sovereign and quasi-sovereign issuers in Asia, including all major Asian governments, state policy banks and state utility companies, and trading strategies for the U.S. dollar-denominated securities of these issuers. Johanna has been voted No. 1 Asia Sovereign Credit Analyst in three consecutive years (FinanceAsia, 2001-2003), No. 4 Asia Fixed Income Analyst in two consecutive years (FinanceAsia, 2002-2003) and No. 2 Asia Sovereign Analyst (The Asset, 2003).

Johanna is valedictorian and a summa cum laude graduate of the University of the Philippines School of Economics. She earned her doctoral degree in economics at Harvard University, where she held various teaching positions on the Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences and at the Kennedy School of Government. Johanna has also interned with Lehman Brothers' sovereign strategy group in New York and with the International Monetary Fund's fiscal policy division in Washington. She has conducted academic research with the National Bureau of Economic Research, Harvard Institute for International Development and Food Marketing Policy Research Center. Johanna has been an invited reviewer for the National Tax Journal and a columnist for Business World, the Philippines' leading daily business newspaper.

A native of the Philippines, Johanna is fluent in English and Pilipino (Tagalog) and is knowledgeable in Mandarin Chinese and the Hokkien Chinese dialect.
