Magellan Solutions proudly celebrated its year-end party, titled Move–gellan: Movin’ Through Christmas, on December 13, 2025, at the Rizal Park Hotel in Manila. It was a night of style, connection, and festive cheer, as the members of the Magellan tribe dressed to impress in their best white and blue attire. Everyone closed out the year in elegance and welcomed the next with excitement. Michael Jirro Escobio and Dave Galgana hosted the event.
Opening Remarks from the CEO
Fred Chua, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Magellan Solutions, provided the opening remarks for the event. He began by articulating his vision for Magellan Solutions to become a successful, locally owned business process outsourcing (BPO) company in the Philippines. He challenged everyone to strive to contribute to achieving this vision in 2026.
In addition, the CEO discussed the results of a recently concluded survey in which approximately 800 Magellan Solutions employees participated. The survey results showed an approval rating of 87% for Magellan Solutions, a vast improvement from the 2024 approval rating of 76%. Finally, the CEO discussed Magellan Solutions’ core values, which are integral to its unique identity. These are flexibility, humility, responsiveness, supportiveness, perseverance, initiative, dedication, and integrity.
Raffle Draw
As part of its annual tradition, a raffle draw with both minor and major prizes happened during the year-end party. This year, the major prizes included a Redmi tablet, a washing machine, and a laptop.

Dinner & Magellan Sessionistas
Everyone enjoyed the delicious dinner served at the Rizal Park Hotel. For appetizers, there were Cream Dubarry soup, assorted bread and rolls, sisig bruschetta, chicken finger shooter, salmon and mango canape, and chef’s garden salad. For the main course, there was roasted pork loin with cranberry sauce, roasted chicken, fish fillet, mixed vegetables, and steamed rice. For dessert, there were assorted mini cakes and tropical fruit platters. While everyone was enjoying dinner, the Magellan Sessionistas indulged everyone with their beautiful songs.
Christmas Team Contest
This year’s year-end party featured a special performance contest with the festive theme “Move–gellan: Movin’ Through Christmas!” Each team had a minimum of 10 members and performed for around 5–8 minutes. Each performance featured singing and dancing to Christmas-themed music. Each team included at least one Head from the following roles: CEO, COO, PM, PS, SSL, SL, & STL.

2025 Sportsfest Awarding Ceremony
The annual sportsfest at Magellan Solutions enables leaders and employees to showcase their competitive spirit and teamwork. This year’s event featured competitions in basketball, volleyball, bowling, and badminton.

Station ID Contest
Teams and departments across Magellan Solutions participated in a Station ID contest, creating their own holiday-season videos. The Management Committee judged the contestants using the following criteria: Creativity & Originality (30%), Performance & Execution (30%), Christmas Spirit (20%), Audience Impact (10%), and Facebook Likes / Reactions (10%).

Best-Dressed Award
While the members of the Magellan tribe dressed to impress in their best white and blue attire, two stood out and were recognized as the event drew to a close. Congratulations to Jovielyn Bauyon & Kierwell Diamante for winning the best-dressed award.
Closing Remarks from the CPO
Rodel Carandang, the Chief Process Officer (CPO) of Magellan Solutions, delivered the closing remarks for the event. He thanked everyone who helped Magellan Solutions celebrate its 20th anniversary. He acknowledged that this year was tough for everyone, but ultimately, everyone persevered and chose to stay with Magellan Solutions. “We will grow, improve, and rise together,” said Carandang.
Final Thoughts
The 2025 year-end party was a great way to celebrate the hard work of every member of the Magellan tribe over the course of 12 months. Congratulations to the Culture Committee for another well-organized and successful event.
