Two Decades and One: Celebrating Magellan Solutions’ 21st Anniversary

By Arthur Dustin Demain

Updated on September 8, 2026

Magellan Solutions, a leading business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions provider, proudly celebrated its 21st anniversary on September 5, 2026. Since its founding in 2005, the company has made a significant impact in the BPO industry by providing best-in-class outsourced solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). To mark this milestone, Magellan Solutions hosted a grand celebration titled Two Decades and One at the prestigious Metrotent Convention Center in Pasig City.

Brief Company History and Key Milestones in 21 Years

Founded in 2005 by Frederick D. Chua, Magellan Solutions started as a small startup BPO company in West Greenhills, San Juan, with 14 agents and one team leader. By 2007, the company had experienced tremendous growth, with 400 full-time employees and a portfolio of 15 clients.

Some key milestones of Magellan Solutions in 21 years include:

  • 2010: Started operations at Mezzanine, Summit One Tower, Mandaluyong City
  • 2012: Achieved ISO 27001 certification. Occupied the 33rd floor of Summit One Tower as capacity expanded to around 1,000 seats
  • 2019: Started operations at Eton Tower Centris, Quezon City
  • 2020: Implemented work-from-home setup, shuttle service, and Staff House in Mandaluyong City as part of the company’s COVID-19 strategy
  • 2023: Started operations at the Facilities Center, Mandaluyong City

Opening Remarks from the CEO

The event began with inspirational words from Frederick D. Chua, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Magellan Solutions. He reminded everyone that achieving the company’s goals going forward will not be easy. “This is not a sprint; it’s a marathon. As long as we take one small step at a time and we progress as we move forward, that’s good for us,” said Chua. Chua added that Magellan Solutions’ vision and mission remain intact in this age of AI automation. “Our vision has always been to be the preferred provider of BPO services for small and medium-sized businesses. We empower our people to succeed and grow,“ said Chua.

Dinner

Hizon’s Catering provided appetizing meals that everyone enjoyed. The menu included basil mushroom tomato pasta, pesto-crusted fish, chicken barbecue, kofta kebab, apple and nuts salad, walnut square, and vanilla creme brulee. However, lechon, as always, stole the show, drawing long lines of hungry employees. The Magellan Sessionistas serenaded everyone with their wonderful songs during dinner.
